LOREN WATERS (CHEROKEE/KIOWA) IS AN AWARD-WINNING FILMMAKER WHOSE CREATIVE WORK SPANS DIRECTING, PRODUCING, AND CASTING THROUGH HER PRODUCTION COMPANY, WATERS MEDIA. NAMED TO THE 2025 FORBES 30 UNDER 30 LIST, LOREN IS ALSO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE LINDY WATERS III FOUNDATION, WHERE SHE IS DEDICATED TO SERVING NATIVE YOUTH AND UPLIFTING INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES.
HER WORK HAS BEEN SHOWCASED AT ESTEEMED FESTIVALS LIKE SUNDANCE, SXSW, AND HOT DOCS. HER ACADEMY AWARD-QUALIFYING SHORT DOCUMENTARY FILM, TIGER, RECEIVED THE SHORT FILM SPECIAL JURY AWARD FOR DIRECTING AT THE 2025 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER AWARDS ON THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT.
SHE HAS CONTRIBUTED TO RENOWNED FILMS AND TELEVISION SERIES, INCLUDING THE LOWDOWN,RESERVATION DOGS, AND FANCY DANCE, AS THE YOUNGEST INDIGENOUS CASTING DIRECTOR IN THE INDUSTRY. HER ACHIEVEMENTS HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED WITH PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS SUCH AS THE PRINCESS GRACE FILM HONORARIA AWARD, THE NEW YORK FOUNDATION OF THE ARTS - ANONYMOUS WAS A WOMAN ENVIRONMENTAL ART GRANT, THE NATIVE ARTS AND CULTURES FOUNDATION LIFT AWARD.

CINEMATOGRAPHER / EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Robert L Hunter — Blackfeet, Shoshone-Paiute and Washoe — is a storyteller currently based in Tongva and Chumash territories, otherwise known as Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Montana, Hunter has navigated many paths in two worlds, which ultimately led him to possess a unique perspective in image making. Robert wholeheartedly believes our optics have the power to influence the culture and shape our societal narrative. His aim is to use that power in positive service to the community. Hunter’s short film "HALLELUJAH" was an Official Selection at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. He is a Cinematography graduate of the American Film Institute. Phenomenally Indigenous.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Crouse is an award-winning documentary producer known for telling urgent, emotionally resonant stories with cultural impact. His debut Monster Factory (2018), an intimate look at the world of professional wrestling, was adapted into a critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series (2023). His short Lowland Kids (2019), which humanizes the realities of climate displacement, was nominated for a Cinema Eye Honor and is currently being developed into a feature with Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures. He also produced Underplayed (2020), a powerful investigation into gender inequality in electronic music and the Closing Night selection at TIFF, and FX’s The Secrets of Hillsong (2023), a hard-hitting docuseries exposing the rise and fall of the global megachurch.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
A member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Amber Morning Star Byars is a multidisciplinary artist, lawyer, and Indigenous rights activist. Amber graduated from the Institute of American Indian Arts in 2018 with BFA in Indigenous Liberal Studies. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating with two certificates in business law in 2022. In 2023, Amber founded Good Trade Productions, and has since provided impact production services for the two-time Emmy winning film Lakota Nation vs United States and the Academy Award nominated documentary, Sugarcane. Amber currently serves as a cultural advisor for AMC Networks and was named one of DOC NYC’s New Leaders for 2024.

Lead Participant/PRODUCER
Dana Tiger is an award winning, internationally acclaimed artist. She is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and is of Seminole and Cherokee descent. Dana was just five years old when her father, legendary artist Jerome Tiger, passed away.
She turned to his art as a way to know him and that engagement, coupled with the tutelage of her uncle, renowned painter Johnny Tiger Jr., exposed Dana both to the richness of her culture and to the bounty of her family’s artistic tradition.
Best known for her watercolors and acrylic paintings depicting the strength and determination of Native American women, Dana’s paintings now hang in galleries, universities, Native American institutions and state buildings nationwide. In recognition of her accomplishments Dana was inducted into the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame in 2001.

Lead Editor
Eva Dubovoy is a passionate documentary and commercial editor with a love for creative storytelling and innovative visual styles.
Growing up in Chicago, Eva started directing and editing music videos and short documentaries with her friends. That’s where her love for telling unique stories was born. Most recently, she was lead editor on the critically- acclaimed FX/Hulu doc series, "The Secrets of Hillsong", garnering praise from Rolling Stone, LA Times, The Washington Post, and Robert Ebert who called her work "snappy and emotionally fine-tuned." Whether it's a thought- provoking documentary or a visually stunning commercial, she approaches each project with meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Amanda Moy is an editor based in Los Angeles but originally from the Chicago ‘burbs. Growing up in the age of VH1’s Top 20 Countdown and in a family full of thespians, Amanda’s always had a strong inclination towards vivid visuals and sharing stories. This led her to the University of Missouri where she graduated with a degree in Journalism and a deep love of documentaries. With experience in short-form content/commercials for brands like The North Face and feature-length documentaries, Amanda’s passionate about bringing stories to life no matter the length or medium.

Impact Strategist
Jess has been working in documentary film and unscripted television for over 10 years. She has worked in the U.S. and abroad and has produced both long and short format content. Her work abroad demonstrates her capacity for collaborating across cultures. She has worked with documentary filmmakers and producers with a project recently premiering as part of DOC NYC. She joins this project in the midst of producing a forthcoming two-part PBS special about life at the US-Mexico border.

Composer Trevor Kowalski works in geographies of memory and hope to write heart-felt, colorful pieces and dynamic soundtracks, with his most recent soundtrack winning at Sundance 2025.
He’s worked with award-winning filmmakers, game developers, theatre directors, and orchestras. His music has been streamed 100 million times and heard in content viewed 2 billion times.
Trevor’s music draws from a palette of layered nostalgia, dream-like drama, and minimalist vitality. Trevor brings a pragmatic, optimistic, and down-to-earth approach to each project. With a world-class audio team and clear creative direction, he’s happy to immerse an audience further into your world.

Senior Colorist
In 2009 Andrew assumed an associate colourist's position at EFilm. There, he collaborated with the world’s most accomplished colourists on top level Hollywood studio productions. After a four-year tenure,
Andrew relocated to New York to continue as a colourist with the
Deluxe/CO3 brands, once again working with a startup called
Sixteen19 to help build their DI department, later to be acquired by the
CO3 brand.
Andrew has coloured iconic feature films and advertising campaignsfor today’s leading filmmakers, among them award-winning
cinematographers and directors.
